Day 1: Athens arrival (D)
Welcome to Greece!

Our local representative will greet you upon arrival at Athens International Airport and transfer to your hotel in city center.

Check in and get ready for your Half day sightseeing tour

Overnight in Athens

Day 2: Athens – Olympia (B/D)
After early breakfast, we begin our classical tour of Greece.
We head toward the Corinth canal (photo taking stop) and marvel at this popular landmark. Next we continue to Epidaurus to visit the Ancient theatre, world famous for its outstanding acoustics. Proceed to the charming seaside port town of Nauplia.
Drive through the plain of Argos we arrive at Myceane. Visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Learn about the classical Greek culture as you walk through this impressive archaeological site. We continue our drive through the Peloponnese and arrive in late afternoon to the birth place of the Olympic Games, Olympia.
Overnight in Olympia.

DAY 3: Olympia to Delphi (B/D)
After breakfast, we take a guided tour of the impressive archaeological site of Olympia. Highlights include Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the archaeological Museum. Depart via Patras to Rion, cross the Corinthian bay by the famous bridge to Antirion.
We cross the city of Nafpaktos and continue along the coastal road to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova.
Overnight in Delphi.

DAY 4: Delphi – Meteora (B/D)
After early breakfast we start the tour of the archaeological site of Delphi, once believed to be the, “Naval” of the Earth, is the home of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. One of the most important archaeological destinations, and also a UNESCO world Heritage site. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the temple of Apollo and the Delphi Museum, which hosts valuable pieces of Ancient Greek sculpture such as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias. After lunch depart via picturesque villages and towns of central Greece to Kalambaka.

Overnight in Kalabaka.

DAY 5: Meteora – Athens (B/D)
Leave in the morning for nearby Meteora to visit the breathtaking Byzantine Monasteries. This UNESCO world Heritage site is home for more than 20 rock monasteries. Perched on huge granite rocks, the monasteries seem to suspend between earth and sky, providing a magnificent view. Each monastery contains priceless historical and religious treasures. Return to Athens late in the afternoon passing the heroic monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae.
Overnight in Athens.

DAY 6: Final Day in Athens (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
Day at leisure. Depending on departure time we can propose optional tours or a shopping tour to purchase your souvenirs and keepsakes.
Transfer to Airport
